PRANAYAMA (Breath Control)Michela

Prana means vital energy or life force and it pervades the whole body. Pranayama is generally defined as breath control that influences the activity of each and every cell and, most importantly, is intimately linked with the performance of the brain. Yogi’s life is counted on the number of breaths instead of the number of years.  Human beings breathe 15 times per minute and 21.600 times per day.  Most people breath incorrectly, using only a small part of their lung capacity. Rhythmic, deep and slow expiration stimulates and is stimulated by calm, content states of mind. This class is offered twice a week for a total of eight classes per month. It teaches the advanced techniques in breathing that aid in lowering stress and improving concentration. You will receive individual personalized instruction during each class.

MEDITATION

Through the use of creative writing, music, movement, artistic expression and meditation you will embark upon an exciting inner journey to uncover the true you and your unique connection to the infinite! During this intensive workshop you will uncover where you are blocking your flow of spirit and learn how to navigate into a fuller more creative life filled with joy, a deeper connection to the creator and a more purposeful existence. This course if offered once a week for a total of four classes per month. This class is opened to all.
